Product Description

Developed to meet the rigorous requirements of commercial and industrial applications, Galvanized chain-link offers years of maintenance-free, long lasting protection. Galvanized After Weaving (GAW) ensures that the fabric receives complete zinc-coated protection. For privacy, different types of decorative polyethylene and aluminum slats, available in a variety of colors, can be added to create an attractive screen. 

Applications

Galvanized commercial chain-link fence systems have been preferred for decades to define property lines, enclose government and commercial facilities and for high-security applications. 

Features

1.2 oz. and 2.0 oz. coatings recommended for industrial and commercial applications. 
Meets ASTM specifications: F 1083, F 1043, A 392 (Class 1 and 2). 
Many of the fittings used in commercial fence systems are made from pressed steel. 
Privacy slats constructed of polyethylene thermoplastic are available in seven colors: green, black, brown, gray, redwood, blue, desert sand.

Chain-Link Framework 
Type 1: ASTM F 1043 Group IA-Steel pipe shall be produced to conform to Specification F1043, standard weight pipe (Schedule 40). 
Type II: ASTM F 1043 Group IC-Steel pipe shall be produced in accordance with commercial standards. Minimum yield strength shall be 50,000 psi. Such products shall include, without seeking limit to, cold formed and welded pipe. The minimum weight shall not be less than 90% of the nominal weight. 

Top Rail 
Type I: 1 5/8” O.D. Standard Weight Pipe (.140 Wall Thickness, 2.27 lb/ft) 
Type II: 1 5/8” O.D. DQ 40 Pipe (.111 Wall Thickness, 1.82 lb/ft). 

Line Posts 
Type I: 2 3/8” O.D. Standard Weight Pipe (.154 Wall Thickness, 3.65 lb/ft) 
Type II: 3’ to 12’ High 2 3/8” O.D. DQ 40 Pipe (.130 Wall Thickness, 3.12 lb/ft). 

Terminal Posts 
Type I: 2 7/8” O.D. Standard Weight Pipe (.203 Wall Thickness, 5.79 lb/ft) 
Type II: 2 7/8” O.D. Standard Weight Pipe (.160 Wall Thickness, 4.64 lb/ft).
